Artists For Humanity's mission is to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing underserved youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts.
Artists For Humanity celebrates the talents and wonderful energy of young people by giving them hands-on experiences in creativity, business, teamwork, and self-governance. Participants learn the techniques and tools of professional artists and the business world while engaging in education, employment, artistic exploration, and entrepreneurial experience. This produces life-transforming change for youth and for their communities.

Depended upon widely by the community for its ability to respond in real time to crises as well as build bridges and re-build broken lives, the Neighborhood House serves close to 2,500 individuals annually through community activism and programs for preschoolers to seniors.
The South Boston Neighborhood House is the oldest continually operating human service agency in the community. Today, the South Boston Neighborhood House fulfills its mission through six major program areas operating in two locations; Early Books Family Reading Program, Early Education and Care, Adolescent Services, School Age Programs, Senior Services and Community Outreach; all of which share a strategic focus on education and community building. Beginning with the infants and toddlers of Early Books and continuing all the way up to the self-named senior “Jet Setters,” our mandate is to promote the healthy development of families and the community in .
